Ways to Recruit New Members to AAHFN

Post the membership benefits flyer in the staff lounge
Offer to give a talk on HF to another organization (ER nurses, preventive cardiovascular nurses, home health nurses, etc)
Tell everyone about the organization
Wear your AAHFN pin
Place a recent copy of The Connection in a prominent place for staff to see
Write a letter of invitation to staff to join AAHFN
Ask your organization to sponsor two nurses to the annual meeting (membership is included in registration)
Discuss the organization at staff meetings
Lead by example - get involved in the organization!!
