Countdown to the AAHFN Annual Meeting

June 28-30 in San Diego, CA

The 2007 AAHFN Annual Meeting is rapidly approaching. If you haven't already, you can still register on-site at the meeting, which will focus on contemporary management of heart failure and strategies to improve patient outcomes.

Airport Shuttles

Free Transportation from Airport to Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina!

If you are arriving at the San Diego International Airport, look for the red, white and blue vans from the Sheraton Hotel.  These complimentary airport shuttles run every 15 minutes between the airport and hotel from 5:30 AM to midnight.  Outside of these hours, look for courtesy phones in the baggage claim area or call (619) 291-2900 to request a shuttle to the hotel. Additional shuttle services may be available at the hotel to other locations.

Night out on the Town

Saturday, June 30th

Get to know other AAHFN members and nursing colleagues while you spend a night out on the town exploring the sights. AAHFN is providing complimentary shuttles on Saturday night after the close of the meeting to visit downtown San Diego attractions including Seaport Village and the Gaslamp District.

The first mini-coach will depart the hotel at 6:00 PM and will make two stops: Seaport Village and the Gaslamp District (5th and G Streets).  The two mini-coaches will provide continuous shuttle service to/from these two locations from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM on June 30. (Mini-coaches are scheduled to arrive/depart at each location approximately every 20 minutes.)

For those who want to extend the evening beyond the 10:00 PM shuttle time frame, cabs in the downtown district are plentiful, and cab fares back to the Sheraton are economical.  (Please note that most venues in Seaport Village close at 9:00 PM.

We look forward to seeing you in San Diego!

Sincerely,

AAHFN Annual Meeting Committee
