Dr. Tiny Jaarsma is associate professor at the department of Cardiology of the University Medical Centre in Groningen, The Netherlands. She has been active in several studies in self care in heart failure and disease management programmes in Europe. She currently works at the heart failure clinic for 1 day a week and is an investigator in several heart failure studies 4 days a week. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal on Cardiovascular Nursing and member of the executive committee of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology.
