Juanita (Nita) Reigle is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Virginia Health System. Ms. Reigle was the Chairperson of the AAHFN Membership Committee from 2006-2008. She is faculty in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program and practices in the heart failure clinic. Ms. Reigle speaks nationally on the topic of heart failure and cardiovascular topics. Her research interests include improving functional status in heart failure patients, phantom shocks in patients with ICDs, and use of Acute Care Nurse Practitioners in an inpatient setting.
