Dr. Anna Gawlinski RN, DNSc currently holds a position as Director of Evidence-Based Practice at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and she is an Adjunct Professor at UCLA School of Nursing. Throughout her career, Dr. Gawlinski has made significant contributions to the scholarly base of nursing in the care of the advanced heart failure patient and in the areas of critical care cardiovascular nursing. Dr. Gawlinski's clinical practice is comprised of patients with advanced heart failure and coronary artery syndromes. Her research in the areas of hemodynamic monitoring and oxygenation in the critically ill advanced heart failure patient has significantly advanced our ability to accurately and safely provide nursing interventions to this vulnerable population. Dr. Gawlinski's work in these areas has made her a nationally recognized leader in heart failure and cardiovascular critical care nursing. She has published on heart failure as well as on a broad spectrum of topics in cardiovascular and critical care nursing. |
